Chrome Ore

Other than manganese ore & iron ore, Assore also has a good reserve of chrome ore in Dwarsriver mines in Mpumalanga province of South Africa, having an annual production capacity of 1.2 million tonnes per annum. Export of chrome ore takes place through the dry bulk terminal of Richards Bay Port on the east coast. This enables IPMC to service the ferrochrome producers in the country with their most essential raw material chrome ore, in an assorted basket constituting lumpy, chips and fines. Also, with its contacts in countries like Turkey producing quality chrome ore, IPM Commodities has imported and is in a position to regularly source one of the world’s best quality chrome ore for use by the ferrochrome producers here.
